: thanks again, Johnny The Ambitious Card refers to any routine where a card is put in the middle of the deck and keeps coming back to the top. There are at least a couple dozen ways to make that happen- which is why the effect in an ambitious card routine can be repeated several times. The best reference is Daryl's Ambitious Card Omnibus. It gives the complete routine that Daryl uses and an additional 20+ moves/sequences that can be incorporated into a routine. It also explains his Ultimate Ambition which is a fantastic finish for an ambitious routine. Bob K
